Tiffany Whittington, LPC, CPCS

When I graduated with my undergrad degree, I did not know that over 20 years later this is what I would be doing. I completed my bachelors degree in Biology/Psychology at Birmingham-Southern College in 1994 and wasn't sure what was next except for graduate school at some point. After a year of doing research at UAB in Birmingham, AL and working at Chili's (yes!), I decided I wanted to become a therapist. I earned my Masters in Community Counseling from the University of South Alabama in 1997 and followed by college boyfriend back to his home area (here in Atlanta).  We married in 1997 and have 3 amazing children.  Since then, I have provided therapy services for children in shelters, foster care, adoptive placements, my office, and in their family home.  For 15 years, I worked in agency settings providing these services. I also managed clinical programs along the way and provided supervision for therapists working towards completing their requirements to become Licensed Professional Counselors.  I started my private practice in 2013 to offer individual and family therapy to members of my community.  I am also a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, offering guidance and training to masters level therapists seeking licensure in Georgia.
